Venice Agendas first appeared at the Venice Biennale in 1999. It emerged from Audio Arts that Bill Furlong and Barry Barker started in 1974. In 1999 Mel Gooding joined to form Venice Agendas. Since then, we have engaged over 600 artists, curators, writers, film makers, critics and other creatives, convening over 57 discussions and talks, commissioned over 30 performances, 3 exhibitions and produced projects in locations including Venice, London, Athens, Tromso Norway, Bournemouth, Folkestone, Margate, Manchester, Bristol and Newcastle.

Venice Agendas 2024 theme embraces the concept of "Art Without Borders," fostering a space where artistic expression transcends geographical limitations.
